Introduction to Search of roots of Saurashtra language in Prakrita

I have read too much information in our Saurashtra History that our Language Saurashtra is an off-shoot of Prakrita language.  So I had always wanted to go in search of the roots of our language.

So my first search in the internet lead me to "National Institute of Prakrit studies & Research" in the Holy town of Shravanabelagola.  This is the most Holy town for the Jain community.
We reached Shravanabelagola on 7th of April, 2016. It was a stunning place, with the grand statue of Bahubali on the hill.

Then our first search was at the local library for Prakrita.
Then our search was at the local Prakrita examination centre.
Here we met Mr.Manjaiah The Registrar of "The National Institute of Prakrit studies & Research".
